How get a newbie to love Skeet Shotting
Its been years since I went skeet shooting for the first time. Looking back at it I am now convinced that my neighbor used the experience to entice me into sport shooting and hunting.
He was obviously very wise and new what had sparked his interest. He let me borrow his Browning that had a very wide spread on a shorter barrel length. As can be expected I never missed and was widely praised by all as a crack shot. It get me hooked.
The funniest thing is that was a very very long time ago, and I only realized that I had been played last weekend when I heard another Newbie to sport shooting relate the exact same crack shot newbie ploy that got him hooked.
Good one to keep in mind when you want to get a friend into Skeet.

How get a newbie to love Skeet Shotting
I unwittingly did the same thing with a friend of mine. I was only thinking of what would be the most fun for him being new to skeet. And yes shooting a blunder-bust wide spread did make him feel like a pro and definitely encouraged him. Nothing entices like success.
