Did I miss it . ? .

I recently lost the central vision in my dominant eye, and have sold most of my guns. Few high dollar items left that aren't moving locally. Is there/will there be a For Sale section to this forum?

If you know several local gun shops, you may do ok. Another suggestion is gunbroker.com for an auction. Sorry to hear about your loss of vision. Can they do a cornea transplant or is it an optic nerve? Have you been checked for a brain tumor which can be pinching the optic nerve?

Naw, traumatic macular hole. Been patched twice to make sure it doesn't get any worse. But it will never get any better. The eye charts suggest I can see about 20/50 in that eye, but then again the eye charts don't have to shoot my guns. Point being anyway, 20/50 vision doesn't justify further corrective surgery.

Local gun shops are no help. If they had customers for these high dollar guns, they'd have them stocked themselves. I've got a 12ga 101 Diamond Grade European customized by Franconia, and a 7mm RM Finnbear Hunter customized by Sako, and a collectible (low serial number) BSA Majestic in 243WM. Nobody around here's even heard of - much less seen - stuff like that.
